Milton “Earl” Slater

of Binghamton

Milton “Earl” Slater, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Austin Slater and Lucy Deyo-Burns, several brothers and sisters, his wife, Esther Mae Woodward and his great-grandson. Earl is survived by his children; Marilyn McCall, Binghamton, Lynda (Daniel) Crispell, Binghamton, Milton (Sherry) Slater, Newark Valley and Stuart Slater, Binghamton, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Earl served in the Marine Corps from 1945-1947. He was a graduate of SUNY Delhi, where he majored in Agriculture and went on to work as a dairy farmer, which he enjoyed immensely until his retirement.

Funeral services will be held 5 pm, Monday, April 2, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Kevin Dunn officiating. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to services. To forward condolences please visit www.demunnfh.com
